RCA exploited their Scottish connections to make the trip to Petershill FC in Glasgow as part of their pre-season.
RCA supporter Iain Robb took his camera over the border to record the event, capturing the hospitality of the Petershill committee and the morning after the night before for the RCA lads!

Just been told that the away match against South Shields, due to be played this Monday, 27 August is off. This is because South Shields play their FA Cup replay against Harrogate RA on Tuesday.

After RCA's home fixture against Penrith on 25 August was suddenly rained off, some of the lads made their way up the hill to newly promoted neighbours Ryhope CW to see a 3 - 1 win for the visitors, North Shields.

RCA manager Neil Hixon has been busy bringing three new players and one familiar face to the club.
Manager Neil Hixon is very pleased to announce the signing of centre half John Parker from West Auckland. This was a signature Neil had been chasing for some while.
John was Players' Player and Manager's Player of the Season at West last season and appeared in the FA Vase Wembley Final.
Today's Northern League match away to Billingham Synthonia has been abandoned because of Teesside fog. The match did not resume after half time when the score was 0 - 0.
No great surprise here: today's Northern League match against Whitley Bay and tomorrow's FA Sunday Cup match against Liverpool Eden Vale are both off.
Subject to confirmation of the ground, the FA Sunday Cup fixture is now reversed for next Sunday, 9 December.
