Sunderland RCA are very sad to report that Tim Robinson, 69, died yesterday after a short battle with illness.
Webmaster, photographer, IT guru extraordinaire, a loyal and committed servant to the football club, and a wonderful friend and support to all comrades at RCA. Tim was as genuine and honest a man as you could ever hope to meet. Unfailingly kind and generous, he would help anybody with wise advice and practical support.
Tim never sought praise or the limelight, preferring to be behind the camera rather than in front. He rarely if ever got frustrated or disappointed by the failings of others, he just got on with the job in hand.
Tim is irreplaceable and we will all miss him, his gentle voice and his warm smile. Taken much too soon, go well old friend. RIP.
