The club recently announced, via Twitter, that holders of season tickets for 2019-2020 would be given a discount amounting to £10 when/if they purchase a ticket for the next season, whenever that may be.
I heartily thank the club for this kind gesture but I will happily forgo the discount and pay the required amount, as I recognise that it wasn't the fault of anyone I know that last (still this?) season was curtailed. I have chatted to another ticket holder, whose identity shall be preserved, and he is in exactly the same saline (clue!) frame of mind.
This is not an attempt to encourage anyone else to decline the discount, just me and my fellow season ticket holder returning the respect shown and wishing Sunderland RCA the very best for the future. My saline friend refers to "The Mighty RCA" as his second family. I reserve judgement
