So our run comes to an end! In all honestly, the boys have been great for us, over the past few weeks, we’ve worked hard, dug in and stuck together but unfortunately, that came to an end on Tuesday night. We seemed, flat, quiet and we didn’t seem to ‘click’ on the night. Second half, the work rate was definitely there but having to play 65 minutes with ten men just made our jobs harder. Obviously the past connections with RCW for myself, Gee and some of the players, made it tough to take.
Today we welcome Shildon to Park. A fixture that’s always a difficult one. Shildon have always had a good side over the past few seasons, but have lost their last few games, however it’s never easy against Shildon. They, like us, will be looking to get a reaction from their players and get back to winning ways. It’s really tight at the top of the league, so I expect this to be a really challenging game, but I’m confident, in my absence, that my exceptionally talented staff, Mark, Gee, Larks and Lenny, will be celebrating a win on Saturday night.
Finally, I’d just like to thank Rachel Davison, who’s decided to leave the club, for all her time and effort with me and the lads. It‘s much appreciated and everyone at the club wishes her all the best for the future.
