Alex joins us from Redcar Athletic, he is a dynamic forward who can also adapt to playing in midfield. a strong powerful player he is also quick and has an eye for goal.
Stephen Callen -
Winger -
Stephen has signed on a dual registration with Consett until the end of the season, then who knows this crowd favourite may return on a permanent basis. Stephen is a pacy and dynamic player who is equally at home on either wing or playing up front as a striker. Strong and powerful, he has great touch and control on the ball and possesses a terrific shot which will see him produce his fair share of goal scoring opportunities.
Jamie Chappell -
Goalkeeper -
A baptism of fire for this young Keeper stepping up into the first team. Jamie is a confident keeper who command his six yard area, technically sound he is a great shot stopper, he is quick thinking with the ability to turn defence into attack in an instant with his distribution skills.
Michael Charlton -
Midfielder, Winger -
Michael re-joins the club after a two year absence. He is well liked by the fans because he makes things happen on the pitch. He is a fast, tricky winger who likes to run at defenders. Very direct in his play, he also possesses the ability to cross the ball at pace into the danger area. 100% energy and commitment enables him to help out in defence as well.
Clayton Davis -
Midfielder, Winger -
Clayton has returned after a season and a half playing golf before signing for Whickham. We all know what Clayton can do he is a dynamic, speedy winger / defender who loves to take on defenders. Clayton is also a great crosser of the ball and chips in with the odd goal. He is one of those rare breed of players who always has a smile on his face and is great to have around the dressing room.
Adam Demirel -
Utility player -
Aran makes the step up to the first team from the reserves. He is a tall midfielder who is capable of playing in a number of positions. Not scared of a tackle and he is deceptively quick.
Robert Ene -
Winger -
Robert joins us having played for Whitley Bay last season. He was born in Romania where he played for Universitatea Craiova before moving to England to study at Northumbria University. He is a very tricky winger with a lot of pace, likes to attack and has excellent close control skills, he will frighten defenders with his direct style of play.
Liam Evans -
Midfielder -
Liam is another who hails from our Reserve team. a versatile midfielder who equally comfortable on either wing. A good crosser of the ball he is also deceptively quick.
Cameron Fenton -
Forward -
Cameron joins us from Silksworth CW where his goal scoring capabilities have impressed. A strong, powerful forward who has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. With the right service he could become an instant success with the fans.
Thomas Goundry -
Full back -
Tom is making the step up to the first team from the reserves. A competitive left sided player he is strong in the tackle and links up well with his fellow players. Technically needs to learn from playing at this level but is capable of doing so.
Tyler Grainger -
Forward -
Grainger is a 16 year old with a bright future, he is energetic and likes to get involved in attacking plays. He has good control on the ball and is not afraid to get stuck in to opposition defenders. Another one for the future who is learning from the experience.
Scott Henderson -
Midfielder -
Scott is an attacking midfielder who joins us from the reserve team. He is quick and agile with energy to burn, conastantly a threat to the opposition.
Josef Herdman -
Goalkeeper -
Josef has re-signed after a brief spell at Chaester-Le-Street Town, a product of Spennymoor United's Academy. He continues to develop in training under the supervision of our goalkeeping coach. A young prospect for the future. Good hands, commands his box and a good distributor of the ball he also reads the game well.
Craig Hodgson -
Central defender, Midfielder -
Craig returns to the club after a two year absence. His previous clubs include Dunston UTS and Bishop Auckland. He can play as a central defender or in the centre of midfield and he is equally effective in either role. He reads the game well, is good in the air, loves a tackle and has the vision to pick out attacking options quickly. Welcome back Craig.
Brandon Hubbard -
Midfielder -
Brandon steps up from the reserves. He is a versatile central midfielder who possesses a range of passes. Will benefit from the experience and once he adapts to the different pace of the game he will improve.
Simon Jakab -
Central defender -
Simon has extended his contract at RCA for another year. Simon was part of the Consett team which contested the FA Vase final. Last season he was outstanding playing in 44 of the 45 games played and maintaining the highest level of performance. He is tall central defender who is equally as comfortable in the centre of midfield, good in the air he reads the game and reacts accordingly, he does the simple things well. Simon always looks in command.
Ryley Johnson -
Winger -
Ryley is a product of the reserve team. A quick winger who has the ability to wrong foot defenders and possesses lethal shooting power, watch out for his freekicks. Definately one to watch for the future.
Lewis King -
Midfielder -
Lewis makes the transition from Reserves to first team. He is a busy central midfielder with energy to burn, comfortable on the ball. He will quickly learn that at this level he will not get the time and space he is used to but he is well capable of adapting quickly.

Defender -
Alex joins us from the RCA reserve team, a product of the "Foundation of Light" he is a no nonsense full back who has displayed good positional sense loves a tackle and is not adverse to getting forward to help out his midfield.
Joseph Lennox -
Full back -
Joe has been out of the game for two season's through injury, formerly with Washington FC, he is a pacy full back who likes to get forward but maintains his defensive duties. Will get better with matches and fitness.
Ryan Leonard -
Winger -
Ryan has re-signed for RCA after a spell in America followed by a season at Easington. He has matured into an excellent winger who is lightening quick, can cross the ball with both feet and possesses a fearsome shot. He scores his fair share of goals as well as supplying ammunition for the forwards.
Ethan Martin -
Defender -
Ethan is a strong centre back who is good in the air and equally as good on the ground. good distribution skills allow him to move the ball forward quickly.
Denver Morris -
Midfielder -
Denver has signed for RCA. Another vastly experienced Northern League player he can play in a number of midfield and forward positions. He is exciting on the ball, has quick feet, causes problem with his deceptive pace and is a quality crosser of the ball..
Bradley Paul -
Central defender -
Brad has made the move up from the reserve team where he was a Key player in the back line. his previous clubs include Shotton colts, Horden CW and Peterlee Hearts.
George Pinder -
Forward -
George returns to RCA after spells at Bishop Auckland and Chester Le Street Town. He is an exciting young prospect. A tall centre forward with an eye for goal. He is good in the air and deceptively quick. Holds the ball up well and is deadly in front of goal.
Curtis Richardson -
Midfielder -
Curtis is another who is making the transition to the first team. He is a midfielder who is a good passer of the ball and can play with either foot.
Taylor Richardson -
Forward, Midfielder -
Taylor starts his second season at RCA after an impressing last season, A crowd favourite Taylor is a dynamic player who is purely and simply an entertainer. He is quick, agile and fiercely competitive. A quiet, unassuming, lad off the pitch; watch for the fireworks once he crosses the white line. Opposition defences be warned. We may not see the best of Taylor this season as rumour has it he is destined for the USA.
Craig Robinson (Foster) -
Forward -
Craig has experience of playing in both the Wearside League and Northern League second division. He is a direct forward who is not afraid to take defenders on, confident and quick he has the ability to make life difficult for the opposition defence.
Lee Robinson -
Goalkeeper, Midfielder -
Lee has signed for RCA to help out until the end of the season. Lee is a former professional goalkeeper who played primarily in Scotland. His former clubs include Queen of the South (124 appearances), Rangers (8 first team) and dunfermline (39 appearances). He joins us in the twilight of his career and is willing to play in any position to help the team out.
Matthew Stephenson -
Defender -
Matthew joins us from local football, He is an energetic centre back who adds height and presence to our defence. He is good in the air tenacious in the tackle and is a good distributor of the ball.

Tom has signed from the Reserve team after previously playing for Ryhope CW. He is a busy, two footed player, equally effective on either wing.Tom is an excellent crosser of the ball who also provides goal scoring opportunities with his good range of passing.
Greg Swansbury -
Central defender -
Greg has re-signed to help the club fulfil the rest of its fixtures this season. He joins Swaz and Gee in the rebuilding process and is a massive influence in the team. At 6'4", Greg is a powerful, imposing, no nonsense, old school central defender. As expected, he is good in the air, but he is also deceptively good on the ground with great awareness of situations as they develop. His leadership on the pitch is inspirational and he always leads by example and is 100% committed to the football club both on and off the pitch..

Callum is another player who joins us from our reserve team. A strong, powerful and pacey attacking player who is happy to play either in midfield or lead the line. A very dominant player who also has a great touch and control on the ball and possesses a terrific shot which will see him produce his fair share of goal scoring opportunities.
Christopher Trewick -
Defender -
Chris joins us from Billingham Town having previously played for Ryhope CW he is well known to our supporters. A very good central defender he is strong in the tackle, reads the game well and his distribution from deep positions is excellent. A very good addition to the squad.
Keigan Turns -
Utility player -
Keigan joins us after a short spell at Esh Winning, previously having played at Ryton and Crawcrook. Keigan is able to play in a number of defensive / Midfield roles. His experience of playing at this level will be an asset to the team.
Matthew Wilkinson -
Goalkeeper -
Matthew joins us from Bishop Auckland where he was on a dual registration with Marske United. He is a capable keeper who has a safe pair of hands, good distribution skills and commands his area.

Midfielder -
Hassane joins us from Percy Main Amateurs. He is a midfielder who j=has plenty of pace, is quick thinking and likes to get forward to assist his Strikers.

"Gee" returns for yet another spell at RCA, He can't keep away.Having played for the club in his Hey-day he knows how the club operates and brings with him a wealth of experience. He was also a member of the very successful Easington CW FC team which reached the first round proper of the FA Cup. "Gee" comes in alongside Martin Swales as his assistants. Never see him without a smile on his face.
Colin Larkin -
Coach, Forward -
"Larks" has signed from Consett and is reunited with Manager Martin Swales in a bid to help change the fortunes of the club. Colin is the epitome of a professional, and his influence is seen throughout the team. Colin's previous clubs include West Auckland, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Kidderminster Harriers (loan), Alfreton Town, Chesterfield, Northampton, Hartlepool, Lincoln City, Harrogate Town and Gateshead. He leads by example on and off the pitch and his enthusiasm for the game is infectious, the younger players in the squad will continue to learn from Colin.
