The final behind closed doors friendly prior to our Durham Challenge Cup tie on Tuesday, 13 April saw us entertain Sunderland West End at our Sunderland LGV Park ground on Friday 9 April.
An injury depleted squad saw the return of Larkin to play up front with Davison.
The opening 10 minutes saw both teams playing attacking football. RCA with the advantage of the slope took the lead in the 15 minute when Milburn drifted in from the right before firing in a low shot from the edge of the penalty area and past the outstretched arm of Bussey.
A half of few chances and a lot of the play confined to midfield eventually ended with RCA going 2-0 up in the 43 minute when Davison crossed for Larkin to chest the ball down before blasting home from inside the six yard box.
The second half started brightly for the home team with Larkin adding to his tally with a well struck shot from the edge of the box.
West End made a number of substitutions and for a period put thr RCA defence under pressure but they again held firm to maintain their clean sheet record in the three arranged friendlies.
Next up is Chester-le Street United in the Durham Challenge Cup at the Ford Hub Kick off 7.45pm kick off.
We will know on Monday if spectators are allowed or not.
