Well unknown territory for all of us at RCA. 540 teams have gone out and down to last 32. Wembley suit winking at me !
Let's enjoy the day boys and give it your best shot. No regrets.
SAFC at home will affect the attendance. But still reckon we can get towards 200 ........150 is minimum both sides deserve !
Charlo !
Bit drunk last night !
FA Vase pre nerves. Out with charlos dad ..in Sunderland city . Old team mates type thing. I said your boy is nudging it...doing well. He should be doing better...miserable #### His nudger from 30 yards...canny good from my point of view....dad said 7/10. It's a tough life.
Charlo....10/10 today m8. Dad is not on our Wembley bus !
Good game, great result.
Good game, great result. Charlo walks on water!
Pity about the attendance.
The thought occurs, how many of the people at Meadow Park yesterday actually live in Ryhope? Well, there was me, Scone (doesn't really count), George McKitterick (doesn't really count) and erm, hmm, let me think..... apart from the visiting party from Lincolnshire, I recognised people from other areas of Sunderland, Seaham, Hetton, Houghton le Spring, Durham, Hartlepool, Spennymoor, North Shields, Stockton, West Yorkshire (might have missed one or two), but struggle to remember any actual, current, Ryhope residents. I and Michael Carter have done a bit to promote the game on the Ryhope Have Your Say Facebook group, I told Simon Grundy about it and he gave it a mention on the Sun-FM web site as well as on air. Even the Echo did a bit. What has to be done to generate a bit of interest? I once said that if the two Ryhope Northern League sides were to meet in a Wembley final, we might fill two buses from the village. I wasn't joking.
