Northern League Good People.

The Last Legs Charity Nominations will take place at end of season. £1000 pound pots going to various charitable good causes as nominated by our clubs. Fantastic idea.

Its no secret that I asked the League Chairman if a pot could be nominated early for the Cumbrian Flood appeal. I appreciate that this would complicate matters as the Last Legs is a Season long process and can only come to conclusion when final totals are sorted in June. However Mike Amos mentioned the matter to our League Panel who have generously donated cheque from their own funds of £200 to Cumbrian Appeal. I know a number of Northern League clubs are doing their bit in other ways to support the Cumbria people and we have a lot of football friends at Carlisle', Penrith, Whitehaven, Cleator etc.

Well done to all.
