RCA Grangetown Florists failed to get the point required to clinch Runners Up in the Premier, when with very much the same side that defeated Farringdon in midweek, they capitulated meekly against a committed Redhouse.

Not being at the game I can only report what I have been told, and it was not good. RCA Florists just did not come to the table and were poor all over the park and despite an equaliser from Richie Jordan went down to strikes from Phil Makel and Dale Huggins.

However due to Farringdon's 1-0 reverse against Champions Plains Farm, RCA Florists have now secured Runners Up in the Premier.

Hopefully the restructuring of the league next season will result in less midweek games, because upon checking RCA Florists played 50% of their league games in midweek, and they are not alone in this situation.

RCA Florists though have two more massive games to complete the season, these being the finals of the two League Cup competitions, both against Farringdon SC and two crackers they promise to be, as follows : Sunday 19th May Joe Holborn Memorial Cup at Meadow Park kick off 10.30am and Thursday 23rd May Total Sport Challenge Trophy again at Meadow Park kick off 7.00pm.

So why not get along and give your support to the lads.
