Fixture pile up !

Forums:

RCA have no problems with fixture backlog compared to Newton Aycliffe, Morpeth, South Shields for example.

Midweek FA Vase rearrangements mean that the Durham Challenge Cup fixtures planned...are put back.

Order Priority by deadlines is FA Vase, then County FA ties....then league. Would not like the job of Northern League fixture secretary at moment.

Well done to whoever brought forward our Durham Challenge Cup tie.

We have no congestion......yet !

Morpeth haven't played since Nov..and fighting on 4 fronts !

The original planned league fixture against RCA wed...might have suited us. Hope we play them in a late round in the ....FA Vase. Preferably the Final !

The postponement of today's RCA v Sleaford tie might have been a help for team selection, as Reece Noble could have served his suspension at Morpeth on Wednesday.

Now, the postponement of today's South Shields v Morpeth tie and it's re-scheduling for Tuesday, effectively postpones the Wednesday fixture at Morpeth, which regains the status quo regarding Noble's suspension.

Oh, what a tangled web .....

Consett were due to host South Shields in the Durham Cup on Tuesday, but that has been postponed so Shields can play Morpeth in the Vase.

Could not  the away game at Consett, originally scheduled for today, be hastily re-arranged for Tuesday? It will save them from cancelling the pie order, if nowt else laugh
