I don't know why, but I fell to musing the other day on the issue of players and their tendency nowadays to move on every season, or maybe more often. So, who is the record holder for the NL? Who has done his bit for more clubs than any other? Must be old Jamie Clarke surely? I use the term 'old' affectionately of course, our little club being one of the many who have been graced by his talents over the years. More clubs than the proverbial Jack Nicklaus indeed. But you might know of another contender. That little baldy winger whose name thankfully escapes me at the minute springs to mind as well. So, why do so many players move clubs so often nowadays? Well, probably because they can, if truth be told. The old days of a group of players largely sticking together through a few seasons seems to have gone at most clubs, which can make it tricky for fans, trying to separate your Jasons from your Jonathans. Best to stick to "well played son" I reckon, on most occasions. But we have had a few stalwarts over the years, and I hear a rumour that we may be planning a presentation to one such some time soon, watch out for more info...

And grinding it out point by point, will this rash of home games help us on the climb up the table, let us hope so. We certainly need to win a few, and not just cup ties!
