Football Secretary and new Committee members wanted
RCA captain Greg Swansbury in action against Liversedge during this season's excellent FA Cup run.
Sunderland RCA FC of the EBAC Northern League is looking to recruit new committee members.
A well run club, based in Ryhope, Sunderland, and established in the First Division of the EBAC Northern League, RCA particularly need a new Football Secretary, preferably, though not essentially, with some experience of football administration. Lots of support is available for this excellent opportunity, ideal for someone who wants to play an active role in local football administration at a really good standard, maybe stepping up from Sunday or lower level football.
The club is also looking for other new committee members to join our team and help with a range of roles from grounds maintenance and upkeep to match day duties around the ground and clubhouse. Great football, and a good atmosphere.
Anyone interested in joining Sunderland RCA as an active committee member should contact Colin Wilson on wilsonjohncolin@gmail.com or 07802 523533.

Buildbase FA Vase Second Round preview
Clayton Davis in action for RCA during last season's FA Vase Second Round victory over Stockton Town on Saturday, 12 November 2016.
On Saturday, 11 November, Sunderland RCA are in Buildbase FA Vase Second Round action with a trip to Runcorn Linnets. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Runcorn play their football in the North West Counties League, Premier Division and are currently sitting in second place in the table with 37 points from 17 matches played - winning 11 and losing just twice. They entered the Vase this season in the previous round, beating fellow Northern League Division One side Team Northumbria after a replay - the sides drew 1-1 at the Coach Lane Sports Complex, before Runcorn won the replay 3-2 at the Millbank Linnets Stadium.
RCA, meanwhile, have lost just once in eight matches and got back to winning ways with an excellent 2-1 home win over West Auckland Town on Tuesday evening. Saturday's match will be RCA's first in this season's Vase competition after being exempt from previous rounds for reaching the Fifth Round last season, losing 3-2 to Newport Pagnell Town in extra-time after conceding an agonising 96th minute equaliser.
The winners of the match will receive £900 (losers £300) and take their place in the Third Round which is scheduled to be played on Saturday, 2 December.

Durham County Challenge Cup Second Round draw
Craig Hodgson fires in a shot during RCA's last visit to Mariners Park - a 2-2 draw in the Northern League on 1 October 2016.
Sunderland RCA have been drawn away to South Shields in the Second Round of the Durham County Challenge Cup.
The match is scheduled to be played the week preceding 6 January.
It should be a cracking match if the two Northern League encounters between the sides last season are anything to go by - the first match, at Mariners Park, finished in a 2-2 draw after RCA surrended a 2-0 lead as ten-man Shields came storming back in the last 20 minutes of the match, with a brilliant Julio Arca strike levelling the match in the final minutes.
At Meadow Park, Shields won 2-1: after RCA went in with a half-time lead, courtesy of a Ross Preston goal, Shields again fought back and a terrific free-kick from Arca and a typical poacher's goal from Gavin Cogdon sealed the points, despite RCA throwing the kitchen sink at Shields for the last quarter of the match, and they went on to complete an historic quadruple, winning the FA Vase, the Northern League Championship, the Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup and the Durham County Challenge Cup.
