Sunderland RCA or Tadcaster Albion v Sleaford Town

Saturday January 9 2016.

Just back to my local now for a quick couple. 11...Roman Numerals. You decide...I am well happy. It will be XI

Club put a shift in to get game on...just rewards. Might have been difficult in preparation for game travelling from Tadcaster.. Cannot fault any part of our set up. Players on the pitch all scored minimum 8 out of 10. Class act with the away support chanting Sunderland at the end !

Last legs walk to the ground on Sat...looking forward to getting Our League Chairman's viewpoint...he was in attendance again tonight.

To Be fair...he has always stated we are a great...canny club. Roll on 4th round....7 pints to go....hic !

My lovely wife not impressed that Christmas Party has started Tuesday...15th December....forgot to tell her we were playing tonight. Cold Shoulder ....yep ...my favourite...should have brought a Defty Dog ..with onions home.

Friday work shut down....party night..and walking to Rca 13 miles starting 9.0am. ...sat morning...can I have a lift darling to Bournmoor Church.

We will have a honeymoon again....London in May....this is taking some convincing.

Rally round boys all fivers welcome sat....any spare rooms available for Sat night ! Happy new year...hic !

I neither expected nor foresaw that result, which leads me to believe in the power of hope. All those lads deserve credit for last night's performance, truly incredible! The people who worked so hard and gave so much time, in order to get the game started, also deserve a pat on the back.

I won't spend too much time praising Lucy, I'm sure she didn't mean that neat bit of control which set up Reece Noble's pass to Colin Larkin for the first goal, but the visitors are convinced she was the 12th "man" for the CA wink

Spoke to Tadcaster Management after the game. They stated we fully deserved victory. Plus genuine Best Wishes that we progress further. Mind the lady Physio for Taddy did not like our buffet....no meat in our sarnies. She mustn't have known we are all vegetarians at RCA....well for 1 day in the build up to Christmas

Hoping Mike Amos is considering an early donation to the Cumbrian Flood Appeal. Will get his thoughts Sat and hope the good people of our league can sort quickly. Cumbrian teams are part of our make up and its a twin area up North.

Swaz just let me know about Jordan our keeper... Highs then lows....unbelievable the twists at RCA

Just read Rob's announcement about Jordan. Best wishes to the lad for a speedy recovery.

Will Andy Hunter be available for Saturday?

Is there a large enough keeper's jersey for Andy?wink

I hope this game isn't postponed or Reece Noble will be suspended for the Sleaford tie on the 9th. The lad has put in some good shifts, lately, and will be missed.

Henney is hoping the game will go ahead this weekend saying: “The lads haven’t played for a month and are raring to get out on the pitch. It will be a difficult game as we lost away to RCA in early September. We will have to work hard and do the dirty stuff that you need to do in a game like this in order to take something from it.”

Wonder if he means that, literally?

Also, the CA is described as "The Tynsiders" in the article *shock, horror*.
